Jam packed training Module 4 of Bowtech™

I have now completed module 3 and 4 of the practical components of Bowtech™. There are so many specialised procedures within the Bowen Therapy modality targeting specific areas of the body. I love that the moves are all connected and it reminds me of the Skeleton Dance song - the knee bones connected to the .... thigh bone! You know the one :)

To address an ankle concern we start all the way up at the hip, then move to the knee, calf and ankle and toes.

The repetition of the procedures during training and the revision is invaluable to learning the moves correctly.

Getting to practice on my classmates and then filling my log book hours in between modules allows me to feel the moves and see where I need clarification. I love the challenge of different physical and emotional presentations and working my way through the student manuals to choose appropriate techniques to address each persons needs.

Case studies track a client over three consecutive visits. The best part is getting feedback from the people immediately after the treatment and again in a weeks time, and then after the three sessions to see the improvement.

The Anatomy and Physiology theory units continue and are self paced in between the practical components, this information helps solidify the placement of moves on the body.

Some of the moves in Module 3 and 4 include Elbow/wrist, Baby Bowen and Ankle. I would love to practice these moves on all types of bodies if you would like to experience Bowen Therapy click HERE
